Kristin Wilkinson: I'm a self taught artist who has been creating art for over 35 years. I enjoy working in varied media including paint, fabrics, fibers, polymer clay, found objects, paper, wire, beads, Caran D'ache crayon, water soluble oil pastel and dyes.
I believe in creating art every day as a way to keep in tune with my spiritual nature. I also believe that each one of us is an artist in our own way, that if you have the urge to create you should do it regardless of what anyone else has to say.
Ravens are an all time favorite of mine. I even have a custom raven tattoo on each arm and one on my leg (sitting on a sugar skull). I love skulls & skeletons, especially Day of the Dead ones. Who could resist a happy, dancing, tequila swilling skeleton? Not me that's for sure!
I have a thing for old graveyards and enjoy wandering around them checking out all the cool art work on the stones and statues. I love the outdoors, gardening, reading, creating art every day and exploring nature.
I'm a bit of a wild child and rather eccentric. But aren't all artists eccentric anyway???
